It's been a year of continuous losses in my life, including the death of my brother, who fell victim to the coronavirus. What I have found is that in the midst of an unprecedented situation which affects everyone, there are many people who care and are willing to help when help is needed. The idea I want to express is that there are many caring, helpful people out there, who either individually or as members of a group or organization, are making this very negative time in my life a little less negative and this knowledge and experience is helping me to get through each day." ]]></dcterms:description>

As someone who has spent most of her life either as a student or working in a school, seeing how education was re-built has opened my eyes to so many other possibilities. If an institution like public school can be flipped on its head, what else can be radically reimagined? This outlook is a gift I hope to have for a long time."]]></dcterms:description>

My stepdaughter was introduced to riding at age 5 and is making a career for herself with horses. I've taken lessons again on and off over the past decade.
